NYAC quick flips using our starter template

The New York Conference was the first conference to take us up on a quick template-based migration from our classic ASP CMS to our new content management system.  Have a look at their new site if you want to see for yourself.

The play by play

Barbara Eastman shows up at 9 on a Tuesday.   She leaves by 8 PM and we've got pretty much everything done.

We start with our "UMC template #2"  We've got two UMC Conference type templates, ya know.

She goes from this generic template...

to this look in a few hours... We did stuff: changed the colors to their palette, added a background graphic, removed the photo header and various other CSS tweaks.

So, what's the analysis?

If you want to use a starter template, you can migrate from your classic ASP site our our new site in about a day our two and expect to pay around $1,500 give or take a few hundred bucks depending on your specific needs.
