Reasons to migrate to the new CMS

Posted on 7/21/2009

Why would you want to leave the classic ASP CMS system for the new ASP.NET MVC one?  You can use this list to justify the migration.

We'll follow up soon with estimates for everyone.  We're basically pitching that we'll put in all the new code for free as part of your monthly fee and the only thing we'll need to charge for is the migration of your custom pieces.  Your HTML and CSS designs are the most custom parts of your sites.  You may also have some other custom code but those don't necessarily have to be migrated.  They could simply be consumed.

We also have made a base Conference template and will make another one that can be customized quickly and easily in terms of colors and imagery.  Using a template is NOT required at all.  You can totally go the custom route, but a template will dramatically lower the cost and speed of implementation.
